Who I Am

My name is Kaleb Hudson, and I am running for District 78 State Representative. Why am I running? The answer is simple, it’s time we bring transparency back to Lansing, but also empower the residents of Michigan once again. For years the Government on a federal level and state level have gained too much control. Now it’s time to give the power back to the people.

In 2022 I ran for state senate. My 2022 senate campaign proves that I have the experience that is needed to represent the people of the 78th district in Lansing. Not only did I gain experience in government and policies, but my involvement in the community and state have filled my schedule and I am proud of that. As a working class citizen, I will not only fight harder, but I will guarantee results for everyone that impact them positively and make living in Michigan better.

As a man of the Christian faith, I not only put God in the center of my campaign, but I will continue to practice my faith even when I get elected into office. When I sponsor and vote on bills, I will not just pray for them, but I will use my Christian Conservative values and the concerns of my constituents on how I vote.

My stances

2nd Amendment

I am Pro-2nd Amendment. I support the right to bear arms as a citizen. I do not support gun laws that infringe on the Constitution.

Education

It is now time we stand for our kids in our schools. We need to go back to the basics and only learn the common core curriculum. We need to remove all the extra teachings out. Those include lgbtq agendas, DEI, and premature sex ed.

Accountability

Accountability is very important and is needed in Lansing. The governor and the administration need to be held accountable on the campaign promises that they are saying while in office and on the campaign trail. This will help clean the swamp in Lansing and get the corruption out.

Pro-Life

I do not stand for abortion. We must protect the unborn as they are created in the image of God just like you and I.

Economy

It’s time to bring our jobs back to Michigan. We need to bring the auto industry back to Detroit and we need to support our farmers with the food they are putting before us.

Public Safety

It’s time to fight the crime that is in our communities. We need to stop with the defunding the police ideology and start backing the blue once again.

Taxes

I believe in lower taxes. In the state of Michigan we need to lower or remove the income tax. I believe that if you don’t have a child in public schools, you shouldn’t be paying a school tax in your property taxes.

Elections

I am a strong supporter of exercising your right to vote as citizen, but I believe in election integrity as well. When we go to vote in any election in Michigan, we should have the law of requiring voter ID as well as a state issued ID. That insures our election integrity.

Veterans

I am a very big supporter for the ones that defended our country. We need to do what we can to ensure we pay them back with the best gratitude, but also the best way of life they can have.
